Clay County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is excited to announce a new initiative, "Adopt a Clay Co EMS Provider," in honor of National EMS Week, which runs from Sunday, May 18 to Saturday, May 24. This program offers the community a unique opportunity to show their appreciation for the dedicated EMTs, AEMTs, and paramedics who tirelessly serve the citizens of Clay County every day.
Recognizing the demanding and often challenging nature of their work, Clay County EMS is establishing this tradition to uplift and acknowledge their hardworking providers. The "Adopt a Provider" program aims to foster a stronger connection between the community and the individuals who are always ready to respond in times of need.
Residents and businesses are invited to participate by contacting Andy or Kyle at 931-243-3147 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. Through this program, community members can show their support in a variety of thoughtful ways, including:
Handwritten Letters: Offer words of encouragement and gratitude for their service.
Snacks and Treats: Provide a small gesture of appreciation to brighten their day.
A Meal: Consider providing a meal for a shift to fuel their demanding work.
Gift Cards or Small Gifts: A token of thanks for their dedication.
Clay County EMS encourages anyone with additional ideas on how to support their providers to reach out via the phone number provided or through their social media channels.
This initiative underscores the vital role EMS professionals play in the community and offers a tangible way for residents to express their gratitude during National EMS Week. Clay County EMS extends its sincere thanks for the ongoing support of the community and reminds everyone that they remain ready to serve whenever called upon.
