Hallie Rhoton, a 96-year-old resident of Celina Health and Rehab, has been recognized in the “Who’s Who in Tennessee Long-term Care.”

Originally from Willow Grove in Clay County, Tennessee, Hallie’s family relocated to Celina after the construction of the Dale Hollow Dam. Having grown up during the Great Depression, she dedicated her adult life to raising her three children as a single mother. Her family has since grown to include seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, with one more on the way.

Throughout her life, Hallie worked as a seamstress for OshKosh B’Gosh and as a housekeeper at a local hospital.

At Celina Health and Rehab, Hallie is known for her vibrant personality and kindness. She makes sure everyone feels welcome and is always ready to lend a hand, especially during bingo games. Her hobbies include coloring and attending church. She is also well-known for her love of red cardinals.
