Spivey, a father to his young daughter Chloe Grace, is no stranger to the food industry. His culinary journey began in his grandmother Wilma's renowned restaurant in Celina, "Wilma's," where he spent years immersed in the world of flavors and hospitality. He's a proud 2017 graduate of Clay County High School, and the spirit of his family's legacy lives on in his current venture. The Chopping Block's menu even features "Dougie's Sliders," a tribute to his family's former establishment, "Dougie's Diner," named after his own father.
While you can often find The Chopping Block set up in the old high school parking lot in Celina, their mobility allows them to serve a broader audience in Clay, Jackson, Overton and Putnam Counties,.
